SketchUp krijgt een mooie extensions.
Versie 2014, is bij mij behoorlijk ingeburgerd, en ik kan zeggen dat de verbeteringen en uitbreidingen goed zijn.
Alles is net weer even sneller en de nieuwe manier om de plugins ( die nu overigens extensions heten) via het extensions warehouse rechtstreeks te installeren is echt handig.
Enigste minpunt is wellicht, het compleet vernieuwde 3D warehouse, dit is een stuk uitgebreider, maar wel een heel stuk trager.
Voor de komende tijd, komen er mooie dingen aan van diverse partijen ,die extensions maken.
Skalp heeft een veelbelovende extension die eindelijk mooie doorsnedes en arceringen gaat produceren.
Plusspec heeft een zeer grote sketchUp uitbreiding voor architecten, waarbij complete parametrische objecten getekend worden, met bijbehorende kostenrapporten, hier is door de ontwikkelaars 7 jaar aan gewerkt, er hangt dan ook een stevige prijskaartje aan van ruim € 300,-

How about a general laoyut for people with dipolar/planer speakers like Magnepan & Martin Logan? I see a lot of rooms set similar to mine, on the forums. Rectangular, with the rear wave firing into the corners. Speakers are into the room about 3-4 ft.I plan to start out first with your corner diffusor/absorber, then work my way out to the side and rear walls with the medium, and large diffusors. I think a general laoyut for planer speakers would be very useful for audiophiles like me. As they use the rooms acoustics more, to get great sound.

Great use of Google Sketchup! I love the idea of putting the bike path beetewn the parked cars and the sidewalk. That would require drivers to observe that space. How does reverse angle parking work? Sorry...wanted to add one other thing. I exported mine as high qutlaiy .PNG file and took it to the local print shop. They printed it on 17" x 22" glossy paper. I used Google SketchUp to make all of my CAD drawings on NXTLOG (username RoboHeadProgramGuy.) You relaly need a fast computer (unlike mine) for complex designs to be better. It is also tedious in design. Since it is not made for LEGO, pieces do not snap real well. I love it, though. The picture manipulation is very good. I relaly like the controls. It is probably the best I have ever used.
